Madrid, 22th January 2015.- The marketing drive of the fourth edition of Momad Metrópolis, the International Textiles, Footwear and Accessories Exhibition, organised by IFEMA, is continuing successfully. Just a few weeks before the event, almost 50 new exhibitors from the Footwear and Accessories sectors have already registered, exceeding the total number of brands present in February of last year. Amongst the new exhibitors, the increase in the presence of brands from the mid-high and high-end segments is noteworthy. This highlights the growing interest on behalf of quality brands in this Exhibition, which has now become the main fashion event on the Iberian Peninsula and one of the most important events on the European exhibition circuit.

This next edition of the Exhibition will be held in pavilions 2, 4, 12 and 14 of the Feria de Madrid. Amongst the new footwear brands taking part are prestigious Spanish companies that have acquired outstanding international projection and which return to the Momad Metrópolis Exhibition after having tried out other ways of presenting and promoting their collections. This is the case of Pura López, Castañer, Pretty Ballerinas, Jaime Mascaró, Chie Mihara, Salord Jover, C.doux, Homers, Baltarini, Zinda, Argila, Uad Medani, Kupuri and Fun&Basics; as well as other reputable international brands such as Kennel&Schmenger, Vic Matie, Rachel Zoe, Audley, United Nude, Esska, Caterina Lucchi, Yu, Wal in the Park, Arche, Silvia Rebatto, See2bee, Sommits, Mou or MBT, amongst others.

All these brands, which will present their collections for the Autumn/Winter 2015-16 season, will be located in pavilion 12 of the Feria de Madrid which, in this edition, will accommodate one of the most complete and varied presentations of the high-end segment of recent years. In addition to the presence of exhibitors from the footwear sector, the Exhibition will also offer a wide collection of Accessories, with important companies, such as Superchería, Magdala, Ras, Alibey, Biplat, Nusarelos, S.T.A.M.P.S, Tartaruga Spirit, Cecilia de Rafael, Silver Point, Docca, Ibizaline or Naturellement, taking part, amongst others. Privata returns to the trade fair with their collections of textiles, footwear and accessories. Pavilion 4 will display an important selection of urban brands and young fashion.

Together with all these Footwear and Accessories brands, Momad Metrópolis will also convene a wide but selective range of articles from dressmaking companies, amongst which we find some new ones like Skunfunk, el Caballo, Quisquillas, Tiffosi, El Caballo, Punto Marinero, Orfeo Negro, Lucy París Rojo Carmesí, Centauro, Manuela va de Fiesta, Poupee Chic, Tonalá or Henry Arroway. These join other brands that have taken part in the event before, such as Barbour Internacional, Barbour Lifestyle y Gant, Simorra, Morgana, Escorpión, Strena, Vilagallo, Derhy, Brave Soul, Sello de Identidad, Elisa Cavaletti, Amarillo Limón, El Armario de Lulú, The Extreme Collection and Roberto Verino, amongst others.

Aside from its trade proposals, the coming edition of Momad Metrópolis will have the added value of the MOMAD Retail Forum, as in previous editions. The Retail Forum will be located in the section joining pavilions 12 and 14 and will comprise a series of conferences, round tables and hands-on workshops by renowned sector professionals on current issues in the retail sector.

The event, organised by IFEMA, holds its next edition from Sunday 8th to Tuesday 10th February and will once again coincide with the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid catwalk, that runs from 6th to 11th February. Momad Metrópolis will be open right through from 10am to 7pm on the first two days and from 10am to 6pm on the last day.
